Photo exhibition Contradictions 2025
We are announcing a call for the project “Photographic Exhibition Opposites 2025″, which will be exhibited on the Barutan Wall in the Barutan Creative Quarter.
- The organizer is the Photo Club Kamnik, under the auspices of the Kamnik Photo Club, the Kamnik Municipality, the Barutana Creative Quarter, and Priden možic. The exhibition project will be co-financed by the Kamnik Municipality and the JSKD.

- It is recommended that the photos be taken in the Kamnik area.
- Timetable:
- Deadline for photo submissions: April 29, 2025
- selection of works to be exhibited (judging date): 5.5.25
- Exhibition opening: 23. 5. 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
- Preparing and submitting photos
– Submit photos via email to: miro.hrkalovic@gmail.com
with the annotation " OPPOSITE". It is recommended to use the WeTransfer application to submit works.
- Conditions for accepting works:
- We only accept digital photos in jpg format.
- The longer side of the photo must be at least 3000 pixels long.
- We only accept landscape photos in aspect ratios of 3/2, 3/4, 6×6.
- Photos must be without frames and edges.
- A single file can be a maximum of 6 MB in size.
- The photographs must be entirely the author's work, for which the participant assumes all material and moral responsibility.
- Photos can have names, which will also be presented as the photo title.
- Each author can submit a maximum of 2 separate works.
- If the author decides to present a series or concept of multiple photographs, the file must be formatted as a single photograph in landscape format and consist of a maximum of 4 photographs.
- Acceptance of works and jury:
Miro Hrkalovič will take over the received works and present them anonymously to the jury, who will vote to select the most suitable ones. Send the files to the following email address: miro.hrkalovic@gmail.com - Jury:

Only members of the Kamnik Photo Club can participate. - Tagging files:
Files should be labeled with the author's name, title or serial number, and a description of the participation in the exhibition in question: Example: Janez Novak_1_opposites.
After the deadline, the jury will evaluate the submitted works and, by voting, select those that, in its opinion, best correspond to the concept of the exhibition in terms of content and visual style. The jury is autonomous in its decision and its selection cannot be appealed.
