The Kamnik Photo Club kindly invites you to the opening of the first solo photography exhibition by young artist Hana Podgoršek, entitled Friendship.
The exhibition opening will be on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 7 p.m. at the Kamnik Photo Club.
The exhibition presents the young author's unique view of the world. Hana expresses herself through various photographic techniques, from digital to analog photography.
The exhibition offers us an insight into the world, relationships and everyday moments through the photographic lens of young artist Hana Podgoršek. Despite her youth, Hana shows an extraordinary interest in photographic art and explores the meaning of friendship in its most diverse forms through various motifs.
At just six years old, she has created a diverse body of work by exploring different techniques and motifs, encompassing portraits, scenes from everyday life, and moments from her environment. Her curiosity and enthusiasm led her to use both digital and analog cameras, independently developing analog photographs in the darkroom and experimenting with specific techniques such as solarization and photogram.
As the youngest member of the Kamnik Photo Club, she had the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience with the help of mentors, including her father Simon and photographer Dušan Letnar. In addition to photographs, the exhibition includes a video that Hana and her father created from four segments, expanding her work into the field of moving images.
The exhibition testifies to the exceptional interest and talent of the young artist, as well as her perseverance in exploring photographic expression. With her own perspective and approach to visual storytelling, Hana Podgoršek presents her unique view of the world.
A short video clip will also be presented alongside the exhibition, complementing her story of friendship.
