Birds in winter

Photo exhibition in the gallery of the Kamnik Photo Club, November 20th at 7 pm

After the exhibition Birds in flowers The photographic story continues in a different, but no less magical time of year – winter. In a world of snowy whiteness, frozen branches and silence that covers the landscape, the photographs reveal the beauty of birds, which even on the coldest days remain part of the living pulse of nature. Although they are small and at first glance fragile, birds carry within them extraordinary strength, perseverance and the ability to adapt. Their presence in the winter landscape reminds us that nature never really falls asleep, even during a time of apparent rest. Winter is not only a time of cold and deprivation, but also a time of special beauty, tenderness and a silent struggle for survival.

The photographs invite us to stop for a moment and take a closer look – at the tiny lives that surround us, but that we often overlook in our daily rush. Birds play an important role in maintaining the natural balance, so it is our responsibility to help them when necessary, while respecting their natural independence. Caring for birds is not only an act of helping, but also an expression of respect for nature. It is not about taking away their freedom and ability to survive, but about offering them safe support when they need it.

Let winter images remind us that the beauty of nature is not only hidden in flowers and abundance, but also in snow, silence, and tiny wings that defy the cold. Because even in winter, when the world seems to have stopped, life persists – quietly, bravely, and wonderfully.
