Tomaž Berčič (1968) began his photographic journey in his early childhood, when he joined the school's photo club and participated in interschool competitions and exhibitions as part of this. Even later in life, photography was always the red thread of his creation. He is a graphic designer by profession and his sense of good photography has always coincided with his professional path.
During his creative years, he matured and, in addition to commercial photography, mostly deals with socially colored photography, especially portraits of marginalized individuals. Recently, he has been attracted by disappearing handicraft skills, lonely areas, degraded environments and the melancholy of modern times. He has received several awards for his work and is the author of several solo and group exhibitions. He is currently also a member of the Kamnik Photo Club.
