On Friday, October 24, 2025 at 7 pm, we invite you to the opening of the photography exhibition 50 shades of brown by Tomaž Berčič.
As nature slowly calms down in autumn and begins to dissipate the summer vibrancy, one of the richest color palettes known to nature unfolds before our eyes. The leaves, once bright green, pass through a spectacle of gold, orange and brown tones. Brown is the last shade of this transformation — perhaps the most restrained, but also the most layered. One of the most everyday and at the same time the least noticed colors in our environment. It is present everywhere — in the soil, wood, tree bark, fallen leaves, in the warmth of autumn colors and in the patina that time leaves on surfaces. But although it surrounds us every day, it rarely becomes the central protagonist of the view. Brown is a silent companion, a background color against which other colors shine. This exhibition dedicates a stage to it.
