The opening of the photography exhibition will take place in the Kamnik House of Culture on 20 September 2024 at 7 p.m.
"Birds in Flowers" is a series of photographs of various birds perched among the flowers of plants that bloom throughout the year. The series began to be created by chance in February 2022, when saffrons and other spring flowers began to bloom and while walking in the park I tried to get the birds to pose among the flowers. In most photos, you can see great tit sitting on flowering trees, as they are among the most sociable birds and are happy to pose for a photo. I use a Nikon coolpix b700 camera to photograph birds. With the series, I want to show the romantic atmosphere of nature, which every year again shows us interesting scenes of living nature, animals and plants that interact with each other and thus preserve biodiversity. Nature is not only serious, it can also be beautiful, colorful and romantic, and if we know how to cooperate with it, it will conjure up the smell of blooming flowers and the songs of birds every year.
The exhibition will be on view from 20.9.2024 to 11.10.2024
