We used Saturday morning to hold a workshop. Food photography, which was intended for members of the association to gain insight into this genre. In a good two hours, we looked at some case studies, learned a little about the purpose and method of such photography, and spent most of this time setting up the studio scene and props. We set up a few different scenes - from a healthy breakfast to freshly baked bread and croissants. Unfortunately, due to technical limitations, we did not cook and had to settle for "dry" food. Nevertheless, the event was fun and, we hope, educational. The workshop was organized and led by Tomaž Berčič.
In 14 days, part 2 will follow, where we will review the recorded material, evaluate it, and process it in Photoshop.
In case of wider interest, we will try to organize this type of workshop for external students as well.
