Dušan Letnar has captured the moment in his seemingly archaic photograph when experienced workers are re-roofing the old museum granary at Zaprice Castle after a fire. They are using the original straw roofing technique, which has almost been forgotten and is still mastered by only a few masters. The subtle analogue technique of the photograph gives us a sense of documentary, while the coarse graininess gives this feeling its own unique character.
