The participants spent six months training in the theory and technique of working in the darkroom of the Kamnik Photo Club. At regular group meetings and individual mentoring sessions, they learned about the history of photography, working with and maintaining an analog camera, the process of developing and cleaning 35mm black-and-white film, the specifics of making enlargements, and the preparation and setting up of a photography exhibition.
They will now proudly exhibit the works that were conceived and created during the workshops: in the form of mixed enlargements, photographic narrative series, and installations.
The exhibited photographs were created in the club's darkroom with an emphasis on concept and content. They are not technically perfect and intentionally do not hide beginner's mistakes.
The workshop was led and mentored by Hodžić Belmin and Valter Kolenc with the support of Dušan Letnar.
