The exhibition presents a unique insight into a time when high school graduates celebrated the end of their education with pride and joy. The photographs, taken in 1970,
They revive the unforgettable graduation procession, the custom of handing over the graduation key to the new generation, and the symbolic throwing of grades into Kamniška Bistrica – a farewell to grades from 1 to 5 and a step into a new phase of life. The author of the photographs captured the moments with a PRAKTICA camera, primarily out of his personal joy for photography, without suspecting that these shots would one day become a valuable historical document and the subject of an exhibition. The exhibition is also given special value by the scenes of old Kamnik – a town that no longer exists today, but remains alive in memories and in these photographs.
We invite you to join us and together we will revive the spirit of a time, tradition, and youthful carefreeness.
