Greetings from the boiler is already the fourth festival at the end of the successful season of the Youth Center Kotlovnica. The nine-day festival will bring many activities in the field of music, video and photography, theater and other activities that are already part of the youth center. Some activities will also take place outside in front of the Cultural Center building, and visitors will certainly be attracted by the youth market. Photo Club Kamnik, as a co-creator of the annual MC Kotlovnica program, also participates in the festival with many activities, where photography enthusiasts will find something for themselves. EXHIBITION
During the festival, an exhibition of photographs from the Austrian town of Trofaiach will be on display. The exhibition is the result of international cooperation between the twin municipalities of Kamnik and Trofaiach. Last year, we collaborated with photographers from this municipality and exchanged visits to both cities. You can see what our photographers most noticed in Trofaiach at the exhibition.
WORKSHOPS
We will organize three photography workshops, which will be written on the skin of followers of digital photo processing. on Tuesday, May 26 at 6:00 p.m., you are invited to attend a workshop on Adobe Lightroom, a powerful program that offers many options for photo control, processing and reproduction with a simple user interface. On Wednesday, May 27, also at 18:00, we continue with the Photoshop workshop. The first part will be beginner's, which we will upgrade the next day, May 28, with more advanced program options and photomontages. Welcome!
YOUTH MARKET
Some young stone societies and other institutions connected to youth in any way will present themselves at the society market. The Kamnik Photo Club will also present its operation to photography enthusiasts, display a collection of old classic cameras and darkroom accessories, and show you how the first photographic camera - Camera obscura - works. In front of the stands, we will set up a "shot&print" where you can get a photo made immediately. We will also show photographic films every evening.
