Photo club Kamnik as part of the interregional section MAC (Photographic societies: Mavrica Radomlje, Anton Ažbe Škofja Loka and Photo Club Kamnik) is announcing a photography project entitled
CAPTURED REFLECTIONS
Accordingly, we call upon and invite representatives and members of the aforementioned societies to participate and submit their works on the described topic.
An individual association can submit up to a maximum of 15 photographs by different authors.
The photographs can be up to 30 x 40 cm in size, taken in analog or digital technique and in color or black and white. The layout can be horizontal or vertical. At the exhibition, an individual author can submit 1 (one) photograph, which must be meaningful and uniquely named. Names such as “untitled” will not be considered.
Each society independently conducts an internal judging and makes a selection of the submitted photographs. The selected works must be framed and ready for exhibition on the day of the exhibition. Each society from the aforementioned section has the opportunity to share ⅓ of the exhibition space.
The exhibition will take place in the exhibition hall of the Cultural Center Kamnik from October 2, 2026 to November 4, 2026.
The opening is scheduled for October 2, 2026 at 7 p.m.
Organizational specifications:
The exhibition is technically set up by representatives of the FKK association a few days before the opening (by arrangement).
The current host of the section exhibition - the Kamnik Photo Club - will provide the organization and cost of the catering.
The exhibition is also accompanied by a printed and online catalogue. The printed catalogue will be produced in A4 format and will contain reproductions of all participating works with references to the authors and an accompanying curatorial statement for the entire exhibition. The cost of designing and printing the catalogue is 180 EUR/society. Each society is entitled to 20 printed catalogues.
Since we are also negotiating for a printed catalog, it is necessary at least 14 days send selected photos to the webmail before the opening (i.e. by September 16, 2026) fotoklubkamnik@gmail.com. The size of the photos should not exceed 3000 px on the longest side.
