Dear Sir/Madam.
The regional branch of JSKD Jesenice and the Coordination for Gorenjska invite you to participate in the renewed photography competition for the 48th Regional Photography Exhibition JSKD (until 2025 in a different format and with the subtitle Captured Views).
This year's photography competition for the 48th regional photography exhibition of the JSKD invites you to Through the lens, you explore the intertwining of living and non-living nature and, through this synergy, try to find answers to questions about the meaning of existence.
We invite photographers who live, are members of (photographic) societies or attend schools in the area of the Regional Branches of JSKD Jesenice, Radovljica, Tržič, Kranj, Škofja Loka, Kamnik and Domžale and are 15 years of age or older to participate. Participation is FREE for everyone.
All entries submitted to the competition will be reviewed by a professional selector who will selected the finalists of the competition for the 48th regional photography exhibition. The works of the finalists will be presented at a regional exhibition in the Kolpern Banquet Hall between October 20 and, presumably, November 20, 2026.
All finalists will receive a regional recognition certificate at the opening of the exhibition. All finalists will compete for a special recognition from the expert selector with a practical prize. Up to 3 special awards from the expert selector with practical prizes will be awarded. The recipient(s) of the special regional recognition and award will be announced at the opening of the 48th regional photography exhibition on October 20, 2026 in Jesenice.
As part of the opening, a workshop will also be organized for the participating authors. round table with the exhibition's expert selector.
